Trends and Current Developments in Hospitality and Tourism: Industrial and Educational Perspectives

Date: September 26th and 27th 2016

Location: Estonia

General Trends and current developments in hospitality and tourism are exemplified, then more specific trends and developments in food tourism are highlighted.  Trends and current developments aimed at reducing the gap between education and industry: forecasts, challenges, threats and solutions are examined and debated by the delegates and six international representatives.


Hotel Industry Foundation and Introduction to Analytics

Date: May 16th 2016

Location: Macedonia

Seminar generously supported by STR and facilitated by Steve Hood, Senior Vice President of Research at STR.  

Delegates learnt about the potential of STR to help them acquire a more in-depth understanding of the use of databases and the methodology for collecting and managing data.  The seminar demonstrated the clear link between industry and academia supported by STR underpinning the work of La Fondation pour la Formation Hôteliere.

Operational and Strategic Planning: Hotel Operations, Tactics and Strategy (HOTS)

Dates: April 5th and April 6th 2016
